Go Red for Women Luncheon 2011
One of All About Presentation’s flagship giving efforts is done with our partnership with American Heart Association and the Go Red for Women Luncheon. Everything we do for this event from planning, design, labor, and materials is a 100% donation from our company. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in women, and as a woman owned business that has a majority women on its staff, this issue is very important to us. As with last year, the luncheon [...]

As a competitive BBQ enthusiast, the owner approved of our creative Backyard BBQ themed booth. Complete with delicious BBQ samples as [...]
Rat Pack Inspired 40th Birthday Celebration
Recently we had an opportunity to plan a 40th Birthday party with a 1950′s Rat Pack meets 2011 theme. So we wanted to create an environment that had elements of the Rat Pack era with a very modern finish. To add to the challenge, we had to accomplish this feel in a restaurant. Starting with very simple, basic white tablecloths, we created a hounds tooth table runner from a fabulous bolt of era-inspired hounds tooth printed fabric discovered at our neighborhood [...]
Fundraiser: Go Red for Women Luncheon
As part of our philantropic efforts, we annually adopt a non-profit to support and help them with any event planning services that are needed. For 2010, that organization is Go Red for Women. Our role for the luncheon was to design the ballroom. To design the tables, we wanted to use centerpieces that were fun and represented the audience. So, we designed the entire theme around women’s shoes from Taryn Rose, Cole Haan, and so many others. Nearly every shoe [...]
Customer Appreciation: OrganiCare
It’s no secret, we LOVE planning events! And, one of the most fun events that we are privileged and entrusted to plan is a client/customer appreciation event. An appreciation event is one way that many companies will thank their current customers for their continued business and support. OrganiCare, a Richmond region organic-based lawn care company, asked All About Presentation to help plan its customer appreciation event in honor of (more than) 20 years in business. Our challenge was to merge [...]

Badges could be earned if [...]
Grand Opening: First Citizens Bank
First Citizens Bank, a branch located in Midlothian, VA, asked All About Presentation to help plan its grand opening event. The only request was to ensure that the event was family focused. With that in mind, All About Presentation included bouncers, carnival games, a football toss, BBQ smoked on-site, a DJ, live entertainment, and pumpkin painting! We’d say more, but the client says it best (below). Testimonial from the Client “It was my pleasure to work with Andrea and her [...]
Donor Appreciation: Schwarzschild Jewelers Tabletop Friendly Competition
A few weeks ago, we consulted on a friendly tablescape design competition held at Schwarzschild Jewelers in Carytown. The event, co-sponsored by the American Heart Association, Schwarzschild Jewelers, All About Presentation, and Classic Party Rentals was an opportunity for Circle of Red members to create tablescapes using designer merchandise available at Schwarzschild Jewelers. Using diamond bracelets as napkin rings and jeweled pendants as table decor, these are likely the most expensive tables we’ve ever created (for one place setting). The [...]

From there, the ladies had lunch at Amuse restaurant in the museum. Our inspiration for the table design was the Tiffany: [...]
Booth Design: Four Seasons – All About Presentation
Isn’t it wild, for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, to fathom the fact that Australia is currently experiencing spring right now? It’s one of those things that I understand conceptually (because of the earth, and the sun, and the axis, and the rotating situation), but unless I fly there tomorrow, it’s hard for me to actually GET it. Anyway, I love this example for what we do in our business. The last seven days have been immensely busy [...]

Meeting: Chick-fil-A Leadercast
On May 7, 2010 we had the fortunate experience of being at (and helping to organize) the Chick-fil-A Leadercast at Hope Church to benefit FeedMore Inc. What a great experience…and not just because of the Chick-fil-A lunch. The event, hosted by Business Owners Institute, local Chick-fil-A operators, and sponsored by Luck Stone Corporation, was an amazing success. The event started off with Connie Podesta, an expert in psychology and leadership. And, can I say, she was a riot! She was the perfect [...]

The inventory management company wanted to highlight on its competitive advantage (which is being a web-based service) and separate it from its competition. So for the MaryKay Conference, All About Presentation proposed the idea that instead of having a regular tradeshow style booth, the company should sponsor an internet cafe so that MaryKay consultants would subconsciously connect internet [...]
Milestone: Pink and Black Party Decor
Preston Bailey said once (and I’m paraphrasing here) “don’t focus on what is trendy, focus on good design”. One of the colors that I absolutely love together are pink and black. It is always fun and always a great contrast. It will always be chic…kinda like red, black, and white is always chic. Anyway, here are a couple pics from an event we designed in black and pink.
